Global Health TV highlights
Spent a few days earlier this week in Ottawa, at the Canadian Society for International Health Conference, with a focus on 'Global Health: A Humanitarian Crisis?'. Presented some key findings from the Pan-Arctic Inuit Wellness TV Series Evaluation (noted in October 14th Alpenglolocal post) as part of a panel on Equity. See highlights on the Global Health TV link above from a few of the plenary sessions (including James Orbinksi, from the Nobel Peace Prize winning organization, Doctors without Borders, and Nick White who has spent the past several decades working on malaria in Thailand). More sessions and interviews will be added over the next few days, and there are already many compelling episodes from other settings in the archives). See full conference program below. A stimulating and engaged gathering of global health practitioners, faculty and students.
