The opening ceremonies for the Healing our Spirits Worldwide Sixth Gathering were held about an hour and half outside Honolul on the northeast shore, near Kualoa, a sacred site. Delegations from the visiting countries arrived by outrigger canoe to be greeted by the Native Hawaiian hosts.  Dances and speeches and luau feast followed....
